HC DrugFree was pleased to spend time with old friends and meet new partners in the substance use prevention movement while at the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America’s annual National Leadership Forum in National Harbor, MD.

Dr. Compton has worked with HC DrugFree for the past several years and it’s always good to hear his latest science-based updates. Dr. Compton’s presentation emphasized the importance of prescribing practices, as well as methods of prevention that are school and community based.
HC DrugFree thanks NIDA for partnering with us throughout the year and we extend a special thank you to Dr. Compton for making himself available to us and cheering on our efforts.

Mr. Baum has been a member of ONDCP’s staff since the late 1990s and he was named Acting Director of ONDCP by President Trump in March 2017.
