Drive-Thru Medication and Sharps Collection

HC DrugFree’s semi-annual medication & sharps collection is back! Bring any expired or unwanted medication or sharps to our convenient drive-thru event. This allows these items to be disposed of properly (please don’t flush them!) and prevent them from ending up in the hands of those who may misuse them.
We are accepting:
Prescription medication Over-the-counter medication Vitamins
Vape devices (with the batteries removed, please!) Inhalers
Sharps (EpiPens, syringes, needles, etc.)
Veterinary medications
We are giving away medication storage lockboxes so come early because these aluminum combination lockboxes won’t last long! (First come, first served. No holds. Limit 1 per vehicle.) Thank you to our many partners: HCPD, DEA, Howard County Government, Health Dept., HCPSS, Wilde Lake Village Center, and many others!
